The data collection techniques used in this research are observation technique, note-taking technique, and documentation technique. In this research, the writer found 62 assertive speech acts, which consist of 34 speech acts of stating, 10 speech acts of informing, 8 speech acts of reporting, 7 speech acts of concluding, 2 speech acts of suggesting, and 1 speech act of claiming. Based on the speech acts spoken, the most speech acts are speech acts with the function of stating as many as 34 speech acts because these speech acts contain facts, and opinions that want to be given to the interlocutors and the general public, while the least speech act is the speech act of claiming totaling 1 speech act.
